The Matagorda County Convention & Visitors Bureau is a Department of the City of Bay City and funded through a hotel/motel occupancy tax.
The bureau is a full sales and service agency dedicated to the promotion of Matagorda County as a meeting and visitor destination.
The Matagorda County Convention & Visitors Bureau promotes and markets the county as a premier visitor and convention/meeting destination for the purpose of positively affecting the city's economy.
